TWO PRODIGAL SONS – A Radical Alternative Take on the Classic Parable

Homily for the 24th Sunday of Year C
Who is the Real Prodigal Son as Jesus intended when originally telling the story?

The Parable of the Prodigal Son is about a forgiving Father with TWO Sons. Each of which takes up half of the Parable. But on which Son was Jesus focusing the point of his Parable and where are the clues to this in the passage?

Fr. Bill offers in his Sunday Homily a different take on who the real focus of the Parable is and the implications it has not only for those to whom Jesus directed the Parable, but for us who hear it again and again in the modern world.
